TV, Commercial & Film Acting:

              

                 Commercial acting, audition techniques, improvisation, monologue, scene study and character development.  These workshops prepare talent to audition for and perform in commercials, episodic television and film roles.  Private and semi-private lessons also available.

Screen Writing:

 

                 From concept to completion, format, characterization, writing action lines that leap off a page and dialogue that moves a story forward.  Students have readings performed by our acting students.  On-line seminars available.

Digital Film-Making:

 

                 This program includes basic script structure, script visualization, story boarding, pre-production, production and post-production of a short subject including basics about camera operation, editing and visual story-telling.  Students receive a dvd copy of their work.

Animation:

 

                 Conducted by professional animators, this class lets students create their own digital projects on a weekly basis from basic images to advanced motion.  Students receive a dvd copy of their work.

Seminar— The Business of Acting:

 

                 Topics include:  What to expect from auditions; working with an agent/manager; avoiding scams; SAG membership; establishing a Coogan account for child actors; dress and appearance; audition preparation; headshots, resumes and demo reel basics.  On-line seminars available.

Tuition:

 

             Acting/ Writing — 90 minutes per week, 2 month minimum — $225 per month

 

             Film-making/Animation — 90 minutes per week, 2 month minimum — $250 per month

 

             Seminar —  single night, 90 minutes — $45
